How can you not understand how big of an issue having a 680 ring early (especially at expansion release where every stat counts for heroics). I understand some players aren't competitive, but if you don't understand what stats like that mean for the ones www.euwowgold.fr who are, then please just evacuate the thread.

If everyone had a fair shot at leveling up and getting the ring before the hotfix, it might be slightly more acceptable. But basically as it is, everyone paid the same price, but a select few got to get the ring before the others unfairly got locked out.

I saw it a lot on WoW.com's comment sections too. It was all a popularity contest, total mob mentality. The question is does Blizz want good solid debate and thought out posts that promote thought and discussion about the game, or do they want the forums to essentially be a mirror of Trade channel.

If the community is so responsible that we can police ourselves, why was there a need for some form of action to be taken in the first place? I hope I am wrong,World of Warcraft Gold but I am afraid I just see the new forums, while very nice looking, just degenerating into mob popularity rule.

Well, I mostly just lag when theres a whole bunch of people bunched up in one place, and there's a limit to how low u can put the character textures down to.

I'm going to explore the new Azeroth, and then level something (I'm thinking troll druid) till Cata hits on 12/7, then it's time to hit 85 with my warrior!

I agree Remove faster travel it's illogical...though there are many other open avenues of fast travel Mage ports..yes there are greedy bastards out there but there are ones like me who port for free if I'm not busy. Plus your failing to comprehend there are ports in Cat you just have to wait for them (2 weeks might I add.) now I know in 1-60 content I didn't need portals that much with my various non mage characters due to zone level flow. BC in the Outlands I did why because wow po no class trainers...had I had them no need to go to mainland Azeroth now they do have them. Northrend second verse same as the first complete with fat lady singing about the trainers....now Cat...high End Zone have ports to them...wow insta travel.

Well here's my problem: I live in a very rural area and as such, I have very few options for internet speed. I have a very slow connection. It takes me a full day to download 1 gig. To make things worse, also as a result of living in a rural area, getting to a store that would have wow or a copy of Cataclysm on the shelf at 12am is completely unrealistic.

If the digital download didn't have very much for me to download, it would definitely be a better option.
